Can I choose a specific doctor?

To book a consultation or check wait times, please contact the surgeon’s rooms directly. You’ll find contact details for each surgeon under the Surgery Specialists section.

Where can I find a list of doctors?

You can find a list of all participating surgeons on our website, under Surgery Specialists.

Who is eligible for the program?

Eligibility depends on your health fund. Currently, we have no-gap arrangements with the following insurers for the procedures listed:

Medibank:

  • Hip and Knee Joint Replacements
  • Hernia Repair
  • Anterior Cruciate Ligamant (ACL) +/- meniscus repair
  • Gastroscopy/Colonoscopy

HCF:

  • Hip and Knee Joint Replacements

NIB:

  • Hip and Knee Joint Replacements

 

If you’re not with a participating fund and would like to have your procedure through the program , we recommend contacting one of the above health funds to discuss your options for joining or transferring.

What is included in the program?

  • Pre-admission assessment and testing (Joint & ACL only)
  • Hospital charges from admission to discharge home
  • Surgeon’s surgical fee
  • Assistant’s fee
  • Anaesthetist’s fee
  • Prosthesis
  • Medications prescribed during your stay, relating to your admission (discharge medications not included)
  • Follow up review with surgeon (excluding endoscopy)
  • Custom rehabilitation plan (Joint & ACL only)

I have Health Insurance with a participating fund, what should I do next?

  1. Contact your health fund to confirm you’re eligible under the no-gap program.
  2. Once confirmed, you can book an appointment with one of our participating surgeons.
