Get in touch

Our friendly team is on hand to answer any questions you might have, and explain how our No Gap Surgery Program works. We will make sure you have all the information you need.

Meet your surgeon

Once you have decided which Orthopaedic Surgeon you would like to see, an initial consultation will be booked for you.

Your surgeon will then discuss the best treatment option for you and if you fit the criteria for a joint replacement.

If you fit the criteria for a joint replacement, you may be provided an estimated surgery date and pre-surgery tests to complete.

Your Eligibility for No Gap Surgery

Our Healthe Care Hospitals are able to offer No Gap Joint Surgery with some Private Health Funds, our team will check your eligibility prior to taking the next step.

Patients will need to be in a participating health fund, which covers primary joint replacement surgery, and will be required to cover any excess costs associated with their policy.

  • No out-of-pocket costs for total primary hip and knee replacements with participating clinicians.
  • Eligible members need to be accepted into the program in line with clinical criteria by a participating Clinician*
  • Peace of mind – we’ll cover the costs during and after surgery, so you can focus on recovery
  • Continuity of care with the same health professionals and hospital from admission through to post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Comprehensive treatment with participating specialists, including pre and post-surgery care.

Eligible members who have held Private Health hospital cover that includes primary hip and knee replacements for at least 12 months are covered for No Gap Joints.
