Meet Mr Santosh Jacob

Mr Santosh Jacob is a dual qualified orthopaedic surgeon. Having trained in Orthopaedics at world renowned Christian Medical College, Vellore in India in 2005, he requalified in Australia to receive his FRACS qualification in 2018. He has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005, completing Fellowships in arthroscopy, arthroplasty and sports surgery in Adelaide (2006), Sydney (2008) and Melbourne (2014).

Santosh has worked as a Consultant for Olympic and international athletes including the Indian hockey team and badminton squad and was also the volunteer medical visitor to the Canberra Raiders rugby league club.

Santosh believes his strongest asset is his gentle and compassionate nature when communicating with patients and their families.

• International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS)
• Indian Arthroscopy Society 

Areas of special interest include orthopaedic sports medicine and trauma with a specific interest in arthroscopy and arthroplasty of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle.
